What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Repair Technician position at 22nd Century Technologies, Inc.?
Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension
Shift Schedule: 1st Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule.
Requested Clearance: Interim or Secret
Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintains a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing, or upgrading components.
- Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components.
- Conducts routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
- Performs a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
- Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Works under general supervision.
- Maintains complex support equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing, or upgrading components.
- Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components.
- Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
- Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
- Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Creates and maintains maintenance, calibration, and inventory tracking systems.
- Works with minimal direction.
- At the sole discretion of leadership, an employee must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation

Basic Qualifications (required skill/experience):
- Experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
- Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications (desired skills and experience):
- Experience using Microsoft Office Applications.
- General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background.
Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate 2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
