Position Snapshot Our Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators ensure that wastewater treatment systems are properly operating at all times. Day in the Life While no two days are exactly the same, as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, you can expect to: Maintain and operate waste water and storm water treatment systems. Record daily system readings and complete inspections. Report, troubleshoot and maintain any malfunction records. Participate in a weekly safety and compliance meeting. Collect process samples. Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.
