Senior Product Manager (Women's Swim)

Client Overview: Our client is an industry leading branded, licensed and private label swimwear company. This role requires three days a week on site in NYC and occasional on site days in Pennsylvania.

Role Overview: The Senior Product Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the day to day activities as it relates to the life cycle of swimwear at the same time build working relationship between sales, design, and entities overseas to ensure the success of the business.

Senior Product Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct a team or Product Managers, whom are responsible for managing all aspects of the garment production time and actions calendars.
• Lead business planning meetings with a detailed understating of inventory management.
• Develop cost modeling strategies, negotiate costs and identify solutions to achieve the margin goals
• Support sourcing strategies and develop annual capacity planning for development and production.
• Review and drive team to manage customer compliance requirements
• Create and manage calendars and time and action timelines for all accounts, or lines, each season
• Establish regular connectivity with factory and mill suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders to the sourced factories and supply the necessary data into Blue Cherry
• Manage, track and approve vendor invoice payments

Senior Product Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, merchandising or supply chain management.
• 8 years’ experience in garment production with participation in sourcing process.
• Must have Walmart experience
• Strong work ethic with high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent project management skills
• Extensive knowledge of ERP and PLM Systems (Blue Cherry) software preferred
• Must be able to analyze and report data
• The ability to work with Asian suppliers after work hours via phone or email
