About the role Cost Estimation role is part of the cement procurement team and in close cooperation with our teams in India, US and Denmark execute the projects. About the department As Cost Estimator in Cement Procurement, you will be part of a very committed and professional team working for the Cement division in Denmark. You will be responsible for: Product Proposal & Sales Support Responsible for cost data and estimates for both Products and Systems Update cost data base with Vendor quotations Updates our cost database Sort code database maintenance Update contract module for scope changes Time consumption calculations (TRE reports) As a person, you thrive on having multiple contacts to people with all kinds of professional backgrounds. You have: A technical background or a Bachelor/Master Degree in a relevant area A minimum of 3 years of experience within procurement Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Demonstrated strong attention to detail, proactive administrative support, strong written and verbal communications skills, and organizational and planning skills required Must have a demonstrated track record of building healthy relationships and outstanding interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and undergo job-specific training (ex. software/project/sampling) Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining a high attention to detail As an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
