Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling highly customized automated adhesive dispensing equipment according to customer and engineering specifications. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble units, as well as experience in testing and calibrating parts to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly:
- Assemble automated adhesive dispensing equipment according to detailed engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate and precise assembly.
- Testing and Calibration:
- Test and calibrate assembled parts and units to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that all components adhere to established quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly or performance issues identified during testing.
- Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards of quality in all assembly processes and ensure compliance with company quality control procedures.
- Document and report any discrepancies or defects in materials, components, or finished products.
- Work closely with the engineering and quality control teams to address and rectify quality issues.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
- Assist in the training of new technicians and help them understand assembly processes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on design improvements and assembly processes.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- 1 years of assembly, technical, or mechanical experience required (3 years experience preferred).
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
