What We Need:
We are seeking an Art Producer to join our development efforts on the WWE 2K franchise. We're looking for someone who's passionate about making the highest quality games, has exceptional organizational and planning skills, and absolutely loves every aspect of game art. In this role, you'll work across diverse disciplines to advocate for the art team in feature and tool development to help ensure our amazing artists have everything they need to make the next iteration of WWE 2K the most artistically striking wrestling game ever.
What You Will Do:
- Assist team lead in managing feature set, priorities, assignments and schedules
- Coordinate the flow of information between departments regarding deadlines, assignments and priorities on a daily and weekly process
- Build exceptional relationships with your team of artists, producers and collaborators
- Work with the Art Director to prioritize, plan and coordinate art production
- Measure velocity, forecast progress, and participate in team-wide scheduling and scoping
- Anticipate and resolve challenges, remove road blocks and dependencies
- Effectively communicate priorities, issues and pertinent information to your team and other parties involved
- Compile and send outsourcing packages as well as creating contracts for them and determining the budget
- Support the team with logistics coordination for all art/game assets
- Act as an advocate for artists, art quality, and artistic achievement in the game
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
- Three or more years of game production experience
- One or more shipped games with significant scope of ownership in art production
- Expert written and verbal communication
- Strong understanding of video game art production pipelines
- Familiarity with Maya, Photoshop, and other tools of the trade
- Strong artistic eye, and passion for quality
- Experience with Jira, Shotgun, or other asset/issue management suite
- Love for video games (not just ours!)
