The* Production Supervisor *is an integral part of the 2nd Ave Thrift Stores Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Production Manager and Store General Manager to support the Production side of the retail business. Production is the heart of each one of our stores as it supplies merchandise on a daily basis.
As our Production Supervisor you will ensure accurate pricing, product flow, and upkeep of merchandising protocols and standards, seasonal product storage, efficient and productive workflow as well as a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Closely partner and communicate with members of the management team to determine current inventory levels, and requirements as well as ensure retail store performance.
- Assist store management team in achieving financial targets and key metrics based on annual and quarterly budgets by analyzing reporting tools.
- Fulfill production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and coordinate production daily strategies.
- Oversee quality control checks throughout all production and product distribution stages
- Continually monitor and set the pace, working with side-by-side employee involvement to observe, assess, coach, and counsel performance.
- Maintain a respectful core values-driven workplace using open communication tools to convert team member input into meaningful action.
- Address complaints and resolve issues consistent with our policies and procedures; providing recognition and candid feedback.
- Recognize and assist with the development of associates with leadership potential.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proactively promote and manage Loss Prevention and Safety to Protect company assets, associates and information.
- Continuous development is encouraged as potential managerial growth.
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of previous supervisor experience
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Bilingual highly preferred but not required
- Must be able to have rotating flexible availability
- Must be open to cross train when needed
