If so, come join our practice! 3 Point Elite Gynecology and Wellness Specialists is looking to recruit a full-time Office Assistant/Receptionist to perform a variety of the business support functions and ensure high-end quality services to our patients. We are located in downtown Silver Spring.
Job Duties:
- Greet patients with a smile and answer the telephone.
- Retrieve, review, and route recorded voicemail calls to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain appointment calendar for staff and patients as directed to include patient scheduling both in-person and over the phone.
- Check patients in and out; collecting payments upon services being provided.
- Verify Insurance eligibility.
- Engage patients via the company's social media platforms.
- Operate office equipment; fax machine, scanner, and copier.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, office policy and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and support the company's mission.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical office or as an office assistance preferred but not required (we're willing to train the right person).
- Basic computer skills knowledge.
- Ability to work independently in a sometimes fast paced environment.
- Excellent time management and resourcefulness.
- Ability to communicate with business associates in a courteous and professional manner.
- As a small practice, being a team player and working well with others is a MUST!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
- Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
