Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Multi-faceted Gallery Associate. This role will involve a combination of responsibilities including data entry on Shopify, graphic design, floor sales and customer interactions, email creation, website upkeep, social media assistance, and more. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is excited to contribute to various aspects of our gallery's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks, including product listings, inventory management, and order processing on Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics for promotional materials, social media posts, and marketing campaigns.
- Engage customers on the gallery floor, providing exceptional service, answering inquiries, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
- Process customer transactions, manage point-of-sale systems, and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Design and craft compelling email campaigns to engage customers, promote events, and showcase new arrivals.
- Assist with minor website maintenance, including uploading blog posts, updating content, and managing online galleries.
- Utilize social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to create and schedule posts, respond to comments, and contribute to a consistent online presence.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and online engagement.
- Adapt and multitask efficiently in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
- Participate in gallery events, exhibitions, and promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) with an eye for aesthetic and design principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for providing exceptional customer service and interacting with diverse audiences.
- Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Basic understanding of website management and content uploading.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Work Schedule:
- 30-40 hours per week, including weekends and occasional evenings for events and gallery openings.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.
