Commercial Sport Partnerships Manager, Cricket, IMG ARENA

Job Description Contract Summary Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Becoming a domain expert and external evangelist for all IMG Arena products and services Communicating frequently with both existing and potential clients – ideally in person but also via phone or video. Establishing and cultivating a pipeline of partnership opportunities within key sport verticals, in particular Cricket Defining and executing against a strategy to expand the IMG Arena portfolio of rightsholder clients in these sport verticals Management of contract life cycle from initial pitch through to client signature Project managing new relationships into the business in collaboration with internal stakeholders Strengthening and maintaining client relationships on a perennial basis Real-time client problem solving and performance optimization Adopting and evolving best practices for client account management Absorbing industry demands and channeling these insights back internally to drive innovation Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc Frequent international travel Key Results Areas Sourcing and winning new commercial sport partnership contracts Providing best in breed execution and ongoing client management Hitting or exceeding annual revenue targets Knowledge and Experience Extremely strong communication skills – both verbal and written extensive relevant commercial experience of complex and high value deals Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and increasing revenue Process driven with client first mindset Ability to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial sports technology business Expertise in Sports rights Excellent knowledge in sport sector technology – both current and emerging Passionate and knowledgeable of sports and in particular Cricket Desirable Worked within a sport federation Worked within sport technology business Skills and Abilities Mandatory Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Self-starter who is incredibly organized and hard working Excellent presentation and networking skills Solution-driven individual Strategic and creative deal maker with strong negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and to handle multiple simultaneous projects Strong attention to detail Analytical mindset with ability to present concise and clear information Desirable Additional language skills Qualifications and Training Mandatory Educated to Degree Level standard or equivalent Aptitudes Mandatory A self-starter with an entrepreneurial focus, able to see opportunities through from concept to completion A true passion for and excellent understanding of the sport, media and gaming marketplaces Effective communicator with good presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders across all levels of seniority A responsive and proactive individual looking to drive innovation in their field of expertise and the wider business At IMG ARENA the job is yours.
