Job Summary :

360 Eats, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing food waste and combating hunger in Pinellas County, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Fundraising Consultant.

This volunteer position requires a commitment of approximately 10-20 hours per month and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities :

• Develop Fundraising Strategies : Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board to create comprehensive fundraising plans, including annual campaigns, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and special events.
• Donor Cultivation and Stewardship : Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.

Ensure effective stewardship of existing donors through regular communication and engagement activities.

• Prospect Research : Conduct research to identify potential individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
• Board Development : Provide guidance and training to the Board of Directors on fundraising best practices and strategies.
• Marketing and Communications : Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.
• Data Management : Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities using our donor management system.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field within the nonprofit sector.
• Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and compelling fundraising messages.
• Relationship Building : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
• Organizational Skills : Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative fundraising strategies.
• Passion for Mission : A strong commitment to the mission of 360 Eats and a passion for addressing food waste and food insecurity.
• Time Commitment : Ability to commit 10-20 hours per month to the role.
