We are seeking a talented Event Sales Manager to join our client’s team and play a key role in driving revenue growth through strategic event sales initiatives. This is a direct hire position with our client in Tucson, AZ.
Salary: From $50,000 Commission & Comprehensive Benefits Package
Must Haves:
- End to end Catering/Wedding/Social event experience
- Previous experience selling events
- Flexible schedule - requires nights/weekends
- Previous experience in sales, vendor/customer relationship management
- Work 20-30 hrs at the Restaurant and 10-20 hours offsite at events, trade shows, fairs, vendor meetings, etc.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize event bookings.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners.
- Collaborate closely with the event planning team including catering & operations, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients like business owners, brides, etc.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business deals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide world class customer service to both internal and external customers
- Document and organize all transactions, information and event plans
- Support Restaurant staff, assisting Front Office, Catering Sales, etc. capturing potential business and assisting the team where needed
