One of our missions is to make renewable energy accessible to everyone, regardless of income. We are looking for a Community Solar Sales Manager to help us expand our reach and impact.
Job Description:
The Community Solar Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the acquisition of new community solar customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and renewable energy. The manager will be expected to already have a minimum of 3 team members and have open availability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new community solar customers. Strong door to door and table top presence is required.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the community, such as community leaders, local businesses, and non-profit organizations.
- Identify and participate in community events and other outreach opportunities to promote community solar and educate potential customers.
- Manage and train a team of sales representatives to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Once a week correlation at our office near turf to go over goals and set expectations.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends to the senior management team. Must be able to communicate efficiently with remote management team.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing customer support.
- Must be able to recruit and retain a sales team of 3 members throughout the project.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies in Door to Door and Table Tops.
- Familiarity with Solar, wether roof top or community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
