1. Technical Skills and Expertise
- SAP HCM / Payroll Module : In-depth knowledge of the SAP Payroll module, including configuration, schema setup, and payroll processing.
- SAP Time Management : Experience with integration between SAP Time and Payroll modules (e.g., time evaluation and time schemas).
2. Operational Responsibilities
- Configuration and Customization :
- Customize wage types, deduction rules, payment methods, and payroll processing calendars.
- Maintain payroll control records and perform retroactive accounting adjustments.
- End-to-End Payroll Support :
- Support payroll run activities (pre- and post-payroll).
- Reconcile payroll outputs, ensuring data integrity and accurate payments.
- Issue Resolution :
- Troubleshoot payroll errors and handle correction scenarios promptly (off-cycle payroll, recalculation, etc.).
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to resolve payroll data discrepancies.
- Documentation & Reporting :
- Provide payroll reports for auditors, finance, and management teams.
- Maintain payroll policies, process documentation, and procedures.
3. Project Management & Change Management
- Requirement Gathering : Work closely with stakeholders to understand payroll requirements and business needs.
- Implementation & Testing :
- Participate in new payroll system rollouts, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate payroll results.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer :
- Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions to payroll teams.
- Document configuration and technical changes for future reference.
