Through leveraging our global network of manufacturing partners, we have expanded to offering traditional manufacturing technologies that include CNC Machining, injection molding and urethan casting. Which has led us to open a facility in Columbia, SC specializing in CNC machining to serve our customers more closely in the region.

Position Summary:
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for implementing machining strategies that drive shop floor efficiency and quality. Creativity, coupled with acute attention to detail, and a willingness to guide CNC Operators will be keys to success. This position is an integral member of Operations team and is expected to provide high quality, first pass yield tool paths, and shop floor documentation. The individual will also be expected to contribute to the departments Continuous Improvement activities and help guide our efforts to create a future factory.
Key Responsibilities:
· CNC programming for 3-5 axis mills.
· CNC programming for Lathes
· Training to other team members.
· Machine set-up to include:
· Fixture Set up
· Tool set up
· Part/workoffset
· Calculating Speeds/Feeds
· Modifying existing programs and/or writing new part programs with Master Cam
· Design work-holding fixtures
· Lead new technology adoption and implementation.
· Drive CNC programming and machining efficiency by developing deploying best practices.
· Support shop floor setups and knowledge transfer.
· Create documentation for the shop floor including tooling lists and setup sheets.
· Observe 3DPX quality and safety procedures.
· Maintain clean and safe working environment.
· Complete work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Willingness to perform quality checks and inspections on outbound orders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required
· 3-5 years of CNC programming experience required
· Demonstrated ability to program using CAD/CAM software experience is required (MasterCAM)
· Ability to edit and create CAM Post Processors (Preferred)
· Proficient understanding of G-code required
· Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing required
· Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
· Proficiency with Vector mathematics (Preferred)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
