Take your career to the next level. As Scrum Master you will serve as the primary caretaker for agile teams working under the scrum methodology. You are the point person responsible for understanding the big development picture of each sprint. You will bridge the needs of product management, sales, marketing, operations, and product development. You will work closely with the product owner to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers. You will lead the scrum team from a tactical execution perspective, providing transparency to stakeholders and proactive delivery. As primary caretakers of projects, Scrum Masters serve as active leaders within the organization by relentlessly focusing on project execution and success.

How you will make a difference:

Event and Delivery Coordination:

• For one or more teams working in moderately complex to complex technology environments.
• Schedules, facilitates, and tracks effectiveness of useful agile ceremonies, including Refinement, Sprint Planning, Stand Ups, Demos, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Assist Product Owner(s) with backlog management.
• Coach team on story estimation and work definition by encouraging small, iterative units of work and value delivery. Support the team’s successful completion of sprint commitments by tracking daily progress, quickly identifying impediments, and escalating issues as needed.

Tracking/Reporting:

• Uses in-tool reporting capabilities to help the team assess its performance and areas where they can be more effective. Introduces new metrics and analysis, when needed, to ensure continuous improvement.

Agile Integration:

• Contributes to an established Agile program by iterating and improving upon existing organization standards.
• Encourages understanding and adoption of agile practices, in alignment with 3E's evolving agile operating model.
• Shares practices, techniques, and approaches that can help the team explore new ways of working.
• Model, advocate for, and coach agile values and principles.
• Capable of supporting teams that are just forming, as they establish their new agile operating model.

Leadership and Culture:

• Nurtures team cohesion, empowerment, and ownership of commitments.
• Scrum Masters are expected to be active leaders within their teams and throughout the organization.
• Sets teams up for success by illustrating effective agile behavior and practices.
• Curates’ useful information about agile and the team, to help them be accountable to their agreements, and to facilitate the onboarding of new members.

You are:

• Comfortable in technology environments, with technology teams and managing up and across multiple teams.

• Analytical in nature.
• Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
• Seasoned in planning, trending, reporting, and problem solving with product management and other scrum teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficient knowledge of business applications such as MS Office, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, ADO, GitHub, or other .
• project software for tracking project tasks.
• Scrum Master certification (Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), SAFE Scrum Master Certification).
• Project management certifications (PMI, PMP).
• Previous experience as a team lead.
• Familiarity with several software development lifecycles.
• Ability to navigate and manage stakeholder relationships, including executives, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in facilitating decision-making, managing expectations, and driving alignment to achieve strategic goals across multiple Agile teams.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience, geography, and qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and/or equity depending on the position offered.
