Responsibilities:

As a Technical Project Specialist, you will be responsible for developing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and creating prototype applications using VBA for web scraping, data extraction, and data manipulation. Your activities may also involve enhancing internal tools based on customer needs and internal service requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Robot Development:

• Develop robots using a third-party application for data and file mining from the web.
• Enhance an internally developed supervision tool in Access with VBA and SQL for robot management.
• Implement object-oriented strategies to improve robot standards/protocols, ensuring web extraction quality and compliance with external web servers' requirements.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and increased shareholder value.
• Provide guidance on methodological improvements that can be applied to other departments and suggest new ideas.
• Prepare and deliver documentation and presentations within the organization.

Support and Management:

• Assist Product Management in developing new and innovative tools to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence software for transparent data sharing across departments with the support of the database team.
• Provide department updates and deliver formal presentations to executive leadership as required.
• Collaborate with the team to provide guidance on priorities and workload management.
• Perform quality control (QC) software testing to ensure the quality of the development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of general working experience.
• Associates degree
• Experience with business intelligence software, SQL, VBA, JAVA, or C (through school, work, or personal projects).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar software.
• Ability to multitask and achieve success with minimal supervision.
• Experience in object-oriented development is preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $48,500-$65,500. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience, geography, and qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and/or equity depending on the position offered.
