The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
- As a Custodial Utility Worker for the flag ship facility of Medical Solutions Division at 3M, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Ensuring your own safety and the safety of others by adhering to policies and procedures
- Coordinating work center cleaning times to minimize production impact
- Determining best practices and using knowledge to comply with safety standards
- Supporting team members and all plant employees
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Willing to work 8, 10, 12 hour rotating shift depending on shift availability, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

This posting is for a Custodial Utility Worker position at 3M Brookings. 3M anticipates that multiple openings for this position will occur over time. Qualified applicants may be considered as Custodial Utility Worker openings occur at 3M Brookings, and 3M will accept applications for up to 6 months from the posting date of this requisition.
