About You
Our Account Leads are the ultimate owners of client performance. They assist our Account Managers by identifying and fixing performance concerns and responding to deeper ad hoc analyses.
Our Account Leads are the face of 3Q Digital to our clients, brand-name companies who demand – and recognize – excellence. As an Account Lead, you will be responsible for the following key areas: 1) owning client QBRs across all channels 2) paid search and cross-channel project management 3) team mentorship and management.
You will need to have more than SEM experience; you will need to have the drive to work independently and the communication skills to work as part of a thriving team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Ownership of cross-channel project management
- Facilitating client calls discussing cross-channel performance
- Setting client expectations around performance, deliverables, and timelines
- Mentoring and managing team members
You’ll need to have:
- A minimum of 4 years’ paid search experience (spanning all core Ads products) and a minimum 2 years of experience in a client-facing digital marketing role
- A deep understanding of SEM and be skilled at effectively communicating paid search goals, targets, and tactics to clients and can get into the weeds when necessary on all things paid search; furthermore, you’ll need to have the ability to hold your own talking SEO, display, and social media marketing strategies with marketing managers and C-Level executives alike
- Proven prior work experience delivering quantifiable improvements in ROI and CPA across all channels
- Excellent organizational and communication skills: you’ll need to be able to oversee several projects and effectively communicate and teach optimization tasks to multiple team members at once, all while looking for opportunities to streamline account work through automation and developing a QA plan for each client
- A love for learning your clients’ businesses from the inside out and take personal pride in growing their top and bottom lines
Additional things that will impress us:
- You are comfortable working with 3rd party tracking platforms (e.g., Marin, Kenshoo, DoubleClick Search)
- The ability to quickly determine a need (and argue) for additional marketing channels (e.g., SEO, display, mobile, YouTube) in a given campaign
- Proven prior work experience managing direct reports / team members and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles
