Print Machine Operator

WORK SCHEDULE

1st Shift (6:00am- 2:00pm, Monday- Friday)
2nd Shift (2:00pm- 10:00pm, Monday- Friday)
3rd Shift (10:00pm- 6:00am, Sunday- Thursday)*

*All 3rd Shift employees receive Shift Differential pay

Summary

Currently, we have openings for the following print production areas:

- Assistant Press Operators (Sheet Fed, Komori Systems)

- Cutting System Operators (Polar, Saber Systems, etc)

- Assistant Cutting System Operator (Polar, Saber Systems, etc)

- Die-cutting Operators

- Bindery Operators (MBO Folding, Note Pads, Shrink-wrap)

• Job duties depend on the specific position. For all positions:

• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of safety hazards

• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately

• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required

• Report all work related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately

• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations

• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of debris that may be a work hazard

• Able to read and comprehend job assignment tickets and customer instructional specifications

• Communicate effectively

• Good hand/eye coordination

• Excellent attention to detail

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle/feel

• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, listen/speak

• Capable/able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise at varying levels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
