A small dynamic Consulting Engineering and Construction Management firm that has been in business for over 25 years with headquarters in San Francisco and offices in Oakland and in Los Angeles is looking for the following position and offers excellent compensation and benefits. Our clients range from public agencies at local, state and government levels as well as private sectors. Types of projects include but not limited to airport/ transportation (LA Metro, BART,VTA, Muni, LAX, SFO & MTA), educational facilities (K-12, colleges and universities), industrial, commercial, hotel, high rise building, etc. You will be working with a group of friendly low key individuals. Flexible hours/partially remote working can be considered.
Senior Project Mechanical Engineer-This is a full time position for a degreed mechanical engineer. This person has to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience. The person has to be knowledgeable in design of various types of HVAC and control systems including dry and wet, field verification of existing systems, feasibility studies, report preparation, life cycle cost analysis of different types of HVAC (for different types of projects-large, & small and public & private) as well as energy modeling, energy management system design and calculations using different software such as Trace 700, Knowledge of Local and California codes including Cal Green and Title 24 . This person shall be able to write specifications, attend client’s meetings, and act as project engineer and provide coordination among different disciplines and be able to complete the project from the beginning to the end with minimum or no supervision. Experience in designing plumbing system in addition to HVAC systems, tunnel ventilation design for rail stations and maintenance facilities is a plus. Background in designing LEED gold certified projects , Revit 3D ,Blue beam and strong knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft office (excel, Word, etc.) is a plus. This position has a growth potential to Chief engineer position and corporate officer.
