Location – Northern Nevada Key performance areas The Rock Tools Technical Support Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of Rock Tools technical specialists to deliver world class customer support. This is accomplished by scheduling, planning and executing the rock tools contract requirements. The Rock Tools Technical Support Supervisor will travel to and work on the customer sites supporting the customer and the Rock Tools technical specialists. Main Responsibilities Coordinate prompt support for customers Diagnose and resolve customer issues. Research questions using available information & internal resources. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Redirect problems to correct resource where required Manage rock tools technical specialists workload, performance and development Safety and Environment Complies with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements Identifies and reports any unsafe work habits Strives to find safer ways for customers to work with Sandvik’s products Personal Leadership Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures Takes responsibility for personal development and enhancement of skills Sets priorities for and coaches employees to meet deadlines. Proactively ensures community involvement within the area of responsibility Your profile You possess Technical Degree in a mechanical discipline. Candidate should have a minimum 5 years technical experience in the mining industry. Current MSHA Part 46 and 48 and direct knowledge of the Sandvik track program is a plus.
