As a Kitchen Supervisor you will focus on efficiently overseeing edible production within the Kitchen while ensuring that the production quotas set forth by the Kitchen Manager are being met. You will also be responsible for making suggestions and recommendations regarding staffing, operational issues, and other department-related matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and supervise all company and facility policies and procedures
- Assist with all training needs of the department’s staff
- Ensure the team supports all financial and operational goals of the department
- Delegate and coach the team while maintaining a hands-on “lead by example” approach
- Ensure all areas, stations and processes of the department comply with all local and state regulations
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees and visitors
- Adapt and support all changes in business needs and product flow
- Promote a respectful work environment in daily actions with all employees and job tasks as the #1 priority
- Follow reasonable instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks
- Contribute to the team morale by ensuring the highest level of engagement is consistently applied
- Ensure all cannabis infused products are manufactured following the proper dosing in accordance to local and state regulations
- Monitor all kitchen equipment ensuring any required maintenance gets promptly scheduled and executed
- Update tracking sheets and record testing dates/label information in our compliance software program
- Conduct monthly audits of raw and prepared cannabis infused and non-medicated products
- Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
Qualificiations
- Kitchen / Food Preparation Experience, 2 years
- Production / Manufacturing Experience, 2 years
- Supervisor Experience, 1 years
- Cannabis Industry Experience, 1 years
- Advanced Communication, Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
- ServSafe Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass annual State mandated background check
- Valid State ID
Working Conditions
- Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods.
