Summary The candidate will provide Security administrative support and work closely with the Security leadership, assigned Program Management and staff. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program are accomplished in an acceptable manner. Administration and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD254s and associated database. Assist in maintaining Security files and records. Monitor records retention schedules and disposition sensitive materials in accordance with established schedules. Develop knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM Provide assistance during required internal security self-inspections and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)/Customer Security Assessments Become familiar with FOCI restrictions, mitigation agreements and operations under DCSA directed agreements (e.g., SSA, AOP, ECP, TCP., etc.) and provide administrative support, when necessary. Qualifications and Education Requirements Must be actively enrolled in college or university seeking an AA or BS degree in Criminology, Security Management, or a Technical field Must be well organized, self-motivated, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment Strong communication skills (oral and written), customer service and interpersonal skills Proficient competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs Ability to work with minimal supervision, detail oriented Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity Preferred Skills Ability to read and interpret DoD and company regulations Compilation of data and statistical analysis DoD FOCI-related security experience Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work must be performed onsite. Remote work will be authorized on an as-needed, exception basis.
