What You Will Do Your role as a marketing copywriter is to assist the content creation of marketing communication materials, styleguides and best practice documents. You will be working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns. Your words will inform and engage target audiences. In this role you will be an accomplished storyteller, copywriting for web, email, and print. You will review content generated by other teams to ensure it meets the standards of the corporate brand voice. You may also be asked to edit the grammar and overall length of copy for various marketing assets and campaigns to produce fit-for-use content: Help to create and maintain marketing and communications materials for the company Develop original copy for corporate marketing (online and offline), collateral materials to best reflect the company and product, style guidelines and best practices Help with the development of various marketing copy such as taglines, headlines, advertising copy, campaigns, direct response copy, signage and other promotional copy Assist in developing copy for web and intranet sites as required Edit and proofread communications pieces including presentations and marketing materials Maintain a consistent editorial style reflective of the company and brand voice Assist and support the wider MarCom team, Creative Strategies group, Program Managers, Division Marketing Managers, Corporate Communications and Product Managers *This is a 6 month Fixed Term position What Qualifications and Experience You Should Bring To be successful in this role you will have good file management practices, good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You will have excellent editing and proof-reading skills with extreme attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team, and dedicated to meeting your customer's needs: BA in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or equivalent preferred Strong writer, with 3 years experience in Marketing Communications in enterprise and/or B2B market Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with online copywriting (email campaigns, web sites, etc) Experience writing advertising and direct response style copy Experience developing powerpoint presentation copy Experience with the Google Suite, HTML-based documentation tools, and related software applications to design, produce, and maintain communication Experience working in a large, corporate environment is a plus Basic Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) is an advantage Exercise judgment within defined practice and procedures Next Steps If the above sounds like you then please apply asap as we will be screening candidates as they apply.
