Position Summary The Market Intelligence Advisor is a key member of the Market Insights Team (within the Evernorth Growth Office) as the single point of contact for collecting and distributing key market insights to help drive strategy across the enterprise. The Market Intelligence Advisor is critical to the development and distribution of market analysis through both key internal and external resources and being the hub for any market facing information. To be successful, candidates must be curious, independent thinkers that are able to manage the intake of content through different channels and synthesize key points and insights that would be helpful for our business partners overall growth strategies. It will be critical for this individual to maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the Health Services industry (and markets we serve), and develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with leaders and team members that serve these market areas. Essential Functions Manage market intelligence repository throughout the organization including inputs from key enterprise partners – marketing, market research, client insights, sales, consultant relations, account management, solutions, comp intel and operations Gather and synthesize relevant market information to determine threats and opportunities Review and summarize industry reports Maintain an advanced knowledge of trends affecting the industry in all relevant areas Serve as single point of contact/funnel into and out of the Sales Enablement organization for collection and dissemination of market intel Work with key Sales and Marketing Leaders to identify key buying groups and needs for additional research to understand our market challenges Standardize intake process for maintaining market intel and research Participate in meetings to gather and specify departmental requirements for such projects Development of market intelligence dashboard and regular enterprise-wide communication with relevant market facing information Facilitate meeting with key leaders across Sales and Marketing to discuss market updates This is a dynamic and highly visible role with opportunity to “make it your own” Additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Market Research or related field Master’s Degree preferred but not required BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) and 6 - 8 years relevant experience Embodies not only analytical skills but business acumen and technical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally and present results to multiple internal stakeholders Working understanding and comprehension of market and data analysis Analytical, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Intrinsically motivated and self-starting initiative is required Ability to present information in an understandable and compelling manner both orally and written Eagerness to work productively and independently in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing environment Experience in researching market trends and identifying when and where they can be applied Creative marketing, communications background a plus Account Management or Sales experience a plus Market Research or Client Enablement experience a plus Knowledge of health services or healthcare industry a plus If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
