We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to focus on creating innovative, practical solutions to various environmental problems. What You'll Be Doing: The successful candidate will manage site investigation and remediation projects of varying size and complexity, which would include supervision of junior professional staff and technical staff involved in the field investigations, budget control, client liaison and report preparation and review. In addition, the professional would also mentor and provide technical support to more junior staff, as required. Participate in Business Development opportunities to learn Parsons proposal processes, and to support the continued growth of Parsons with new and existing clients Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans Work with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the client and company management of any such changes. The Environmental Project Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders. Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables. Anticipates project staffing needs, identifies and interviews available personnel, and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 12 years of related work experience is required. Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background. Professional registration may also be required. A diverse background in environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, and field sampling (soils, groundwater, and surface water).
