Location: Brussels, Belgium About the role The Manager, EU Government Affairs is responsible for supporting the creation, development and execution of EU-level strategies on key priorities, aligning with global, European, and market priorities and activities. The colleague will operate as part of a comprehensively networked function that works with countries, our commercial structure and the Company around EU policy issues aiming to maintain and improve the operating environment for Pfizer in Europe, contributing to Pfizer’s global strategic goals through the direction set by the Director/Head of EU GA. Main responsibilities Collaborate closely with key colleagues across the company in the development of global & regional public affairs strategies on priority topics and therapy areas for Pfizer. Support the development and execution of Pfizer’s EU government outreach campaigns around the revision of the EU pharmaceutical legislation. Build critical government and stakeholder relationships and partnerships at EU level, based on a detailed understanding of EU-level and market-level dynamics while maximizing opportunities to leverage programs and practices across regions. Represent the Company externally in trade association working groups, bilateral outreach meetings, public debates About you Minimum 3 years of experience in public affairs, policy, or government relations, preferably in health care / pharmaceutical industry. aster’s Degree in EU affairs, political science, law, economics or similar. English (C2). 1 or 2 other official EU languages (C1) is preferable. Deep understanding of the EU’s political and legislative environment. What do we offer?
