States considered: NJ Position Summary: This role will be responsible for the daily operations for all meeting spaces and two digital video rooms based in 3 of our North America facilities, including two digital video spaces.. This role will work closely with both Zoetis Communications team, Zoetis Executive Team (ZET) and Senior Leadership to ensure the technical support and delivery of recorded business-related videos and podcast segments hosted in the in-house production studio. The Broadcast Engineer/Meeting Support Lead will be the SPOC for the seamless technical execution of in-studio productions. This role will also be the SPOC for assistance with scheduling meeting space and AV assistance at Zoetis HQ. Partner with local GO site leads at Malvern (PA) and Kirkland (Canada) as needed. Responsibilities: Support of Zoetis Headquarters Digital Video Rooms and related technology Create and anchor business cases for AV/infrastructure investments and lead operational forecasting, budgeting and follow up. Establish, manage, and develop agreements and relationships with AV vendors, including handling any license management. Develop, maintain, and handle life cycle management of the AV infrastructure and services across the organization. Support any meeting room office builds and rebuilds as needed. Conduct post-event retrospectives identifying areas of improvement for future events. Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to gather technology requirements for large internal events and meetings. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audio and video engineering, maintenance, and installation. Conduct daily meeting/video room, equipment, and system checks. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues pertaining to studio recording and live broadcasting. Support end users in the operation of A/V equipment in all meeting rooms and other facility spaces, including setting up and testing of A/V equipment before meetings and events. Train end users on proper operation of A/V equipment. Perform functionality checks and routine maintenance of broadcast and A/V equipment. Accomplished in delivering successful media productions according to schedule, budget, and content standards. Works closely with strategic and creative teams to develop and produce quality video content. Expertise in preproduction logistics and planning. Expertise in troubleshooting of all media and meeting room equipment. Ability to take an idea from concept to delivery to produce high quality videos that meet the Zoetis standards. Support infrastructure for on-air broadcast production systems Act as the SPOC for coordinating and scheduling with both Zoetis Communications team and Senior Leadership the use of the Digital Video Rooms in HQ recording/hosting events. SPOC for all onsite meetings. Meetings of 10 or more and will include assistance with coordination of all meeting logistics, including but not limited to, room reservations, technology requirements, room setup, catering, etc... Lite video editing. Studio Operations including video walls, video processing systems and cameras • Live Control Room production systems and subsystems Respond to, communicate, manage, and track technical issues as they arise in a live production environment. Perform maintenance of subsystems including software and hardware updates, modifications and replacements as warranted Education: Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent major, and/or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience Experience: Audio/Visual conference room and event space support. Including Zoom, Teams, Cisco Audio/Visual asset lifecycle planning and maintenance Demonstrated working knowledge of broadcast and A/V practices and procedures. Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements: Good understanding of signal flow processing, commercial and ENG video equipment, non-linear video editing. Understanding of video production-Cameras, lighting, video switchers, video playback and recording. Advanced understanding of broadcasting and A/V equipment and systems, and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting. Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work with all levels, including Senior Leadership and C-Suite. Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Self-directed, has initiative and is a great multi-tasker Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
