The employee benefits coordinator position assists with benefits enrollment, verifies all insurance billing, maintains employee database, and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

Responsibilities:
- Assists with the administration of various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
- Conducts benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
- Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit questions.
- Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
- Prepare and maintain required benefit reports.
- Administers the proper routing of all incoming benefits related communications from employees, regulatory and governmental agencies, as well as legal claims.
- Other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years’ experience in employee benefits administration is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
