Solution Architect

JOB SUMMARY: As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the enterprise application pipeline for the WellNow IS&T team. This includes documenting requirements, prioritizing work efforts, and implementing solutions. You will work closely with Functional Department leads to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate software/service providers, oversee support of assigned technology services, and hold partners/service providers accountable for exceeding agreed-upon standards of service. Additionally, you will be responsible for architecting and overseeing the design and implementation of all activities related to the enterprise application adoption lifecycle, maximizing user adoption, and working with the Project Management Office to lead IT projects for Enterprise Applications. The implementation of solutions will be on a best fit model including off-the-shelf product configuration, leveraging various productivity applications and custom development using varying levels of low code and development tools. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This role will be responsible for aligning enterprise applications adoption to WellNow’s business priorities by providing functional capabilities and technology innovations. This position requires excellent communication skills to keep all stakeholders informed of IT business applications operations, innovation, and industry trends along with transforming IT infrastructure to leading edge cloud technologies to support business agility and maintaining strong vendor and IT relationships, with a focus on collaboration and direct communication. Facilitate effective and proactive business engagement through strategic planning, requirements definition, analysis, application support, quality assurance, issue resolution and ongoing training. Architect and oversee design and implementation of all activities related to the enterprise application adoption lifecycle. Participate in the business governance process to help define priorities, rationalize needs, facilitate consensus, maintain business accountability, and drive near / long-term roadmaps. Maximize user adoption by ensuring users understand and utilize available services to the greatest extent possible to improve their daily workflow(s). Work with Project Management Office and use appropriate methodologies, tools, and best practices to lead IT projects for Enterprise Applications. Leverage 3rd party application services and consulting expertise as appropriate. Serve as system administrator for all applications and services supporting Enterprise Applications. Manage service providers of technology solutions, hold them accountable to meet or exceed agreed upon standards, and serve as escalation point of contact for all Wellnow technology solutions. Coordinate development and maintenance of training content and knowledge articles in support of Enterprise Application technology. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of application development and delivery solutions as well as general IT system architecture by studying relevant publications and participating in educational programs. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Experience Background development websites and products using headless CMS Proven track record developing apps to enhance business processes. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI and SharePoint preferred) Experience working with distributed teams. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects. Experience leading during organizational change management preferred. Hands on technical expertise in the development and/or architecture of enterprise application systems utilizing current technologies. Proven project management experience in the implementation of complex business applications including the integration of disparate applications. Engage and develop relationship with leaders, cross-functional leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams. Experience interacting with IT to successfully launch initiatives preferred. Skills & Behaviors Embody being a solution partner supporting all WellNow stakeholders.
