As an IT Solutions Analyst for Irving Oil’s IT team, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with vendors and partners in order to support new and existing site setups for dealer settlement. You’ll work remotely, providing technical assistance for Retail and Fleet site technology. This involves troubleshooting retail component issues, utilizing your customer service mindset and sense of urgency. Additionally, your understanding of networking will be crucial as you work within a team to install and support network infrastructure. The role requires shift flexibility, including rotational on-call and after-hours work, as well as occasional travel. A positive, “how can we do this” attitude for troubleshooting. Training site personnel on how to use new technology. An ability to influence without authority when working with various stakeholders. Manage software licensing, hardware deployment, and associated upgrades. Log, track, troubleshoot, and resolve open tickets through incident management tools. Support retail and fleet sites onboarding and changes with Merchant Service Providers and internal departments. Database Table maintenance for Retail and Fleet location, files type, promotions, fees, analyze reject inside Irving Applications. An ability to work flexible hours, when necessary. Your Skills: Strong ability to work as part of a team, network, and build relationships. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Networking knowledge. Customer service mindset and a positive approach to problem solving. Willingness to learn new technologies.
