Position Summary We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join our Client Financial Analysis and Proposals (CFAP) team under our Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) business unit. The Assumption Leader will govern the assumption process for our Underwriting models. The person in this role will coordinate with subject matter experts across Finance, Network, Product, Underwriting, Trade, etc. to capture updated insights related to both internal and external events, review them with leaders through the governance process and ensure effective model implementation including a role in quality assurance. Primary Responsibilities include: Build trusted relationships with a cross-functional team to solicit input on forecast assumptions and encourage critical evaluation of those assumptions Influence partners to adhere to best practices established to streamline the ingestion and evaluation of required updates and leverage project management skills to align assumptions across all UW models Support transparent communication of updates to all impacted users, and summarize assumptions for executive use Act as source of truth for UW assumption tracking and identify overlap in assumptions with Finance to drive alignment or understanding and documentation of differences. Continue to strengthen assumptions governance process and support efficient updates and precise modeling. Support process to analyze and quantify impacts of changes on our underwriting client forecasts Build and maintain accurate and detailed documentation across various trackers and requirements documents The successful candidate will also have the following skills: Structured & Logical Thinking: The ability to identify and define problems and issues, and develop strategic solutions Intellectual Curiosity and Tenacity: Ability to learn quickly and to solve complex problems in a highly dynamic environment. Team Leadership: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills to foster effective working relations Required Qualifications 5 years of experience including some combination of project management, operations, strategy, or analytics Proficient with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience in PBM industry Education Bachelor's Degree Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $79,200.00 - $170,800.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
