The Store Inventory Lead in a cannabis dispensary is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the inventory space. Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to keep track of inventory
- Ability to conduct physical inventory audit
- Analyze, validate, and support inventory adjustments
- Ability to analyze the inventory level discrepancies and identify and correct the root cause of discrepancies
- Create/Improve procedures for managing and reconciling periodic and physical inventory counts
- Assist quality control plans and other QC- related tasks • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, and monthly as needed • Ensure inventory records are always accurate
- Follow state guidelines to maintain an accurate physical inventory and ensure the integrity of the dispensary records.
- Assist in managing State inventory system BioTrack/METRC
- Assist in deliveries that will be taken into the dispensary, ensuring they are accurate. • Adding all new products received into BioTrack/LeafLogix/METRC
- Participate in assessing the internal controls over the inventory to identify deficiencies and develop corrective action plans for continuous improvement
- Work with our local Compliance Manager to handle all inventory issues promptly.
- Adhere to all mandatory state regulations
- Assist people in management/training, and investigate discrepancies
