Summary/Objective:
Field Operations Mangers travel across all 84 Lumber locations nation-wide. Members of the Field Operations team work on a wide variety of special projects. Additionally, they utilize operational knowledge to assist with store inventory, and seamlessly assist in our stores experiencing staffing challenges.
Field operations managers travel Full-Time. Assignment locations are based on current projects and store location needs.
Associates travel for two weeks at a time per assigned location. Travel bookings such as flights, rental vehicles, and hotel reservations are handled by our Travel Department.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a Full-Time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, willing to work 48 hours per week.
- A typical workday is 7 to 5 with a 30-minute designated lunch break.
Physical Demands:
- This position involves frequently standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, talking, listening and writing. Periodically lifts up to 80 pounds, stoops, crouches. Rarely sits, climb, balance and crawl.
- This position has a uniform policy that requires that all associates are clean shaven daily.
Work Environment:
This position can involve working outdoors or being exposed to wet, humid, extremely hot or extremely cold conditions. May require working in a highly precarious place and near moving mechanical parts. There may be a risk of electrical shock. The position may be exposed to vibrations, airborne particles or toxic chemicals.
