Description/Job Summary
The Field Recruiter is primarily responsible for recruitment of qualified candidates to fill positions within the organization. Position must be able to analyze, select, and interview applicants over the phone and face to face. Must be able to identify, contact, and build a pipeline of qualified applicants in a rapid manner to maximize candidate pool.
Responsible for brainstorming and strategizing recruitment plans for maximizing applicant flow. Includes but is not limited to: cold calling, sourcing internet/job boards, hosting career events, attending career events, and building partnerships with educational institutes and other various entities.
The Field Recruiter will communicate with management team to develop recruitment strategies to fill open positions. Also responsible for adhering to OFCCP Compliance in recruitment and selection processes. Also responsible for maintaining high energy, excellent telephone and organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
- Call, pre-screen and refer candidates
- Sort and review all resumes / applications received
- Enter and then communicate Background check results, communicate Drug test results
- Places newspaper ads, place and/or update internet ads, update any other additional sources
- Search for new resumes posted on a daily basis
- Search for new sources and keep relationships with current sources, attend occasional career fairs
- Develop relationships with hiring managers to ensure candidates are interviewed timely
- Update Applicant tracking system to keep openings current
- Driving responsibilities which include but are not limited to travel to multiple locations for hiring events, meetings, interviews and other various assignments

- Must have great Computer skills (MS Office and Internet).
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures and /or government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Required Experience
- Must have a strong phone presence and be comfortable working with various levels of management.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking to people.
- Must be able to adapt and have flexibility in a progressing environment.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or at least 2 years of specific experience and/or training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and training
- Ability to travel extensively
