The Opportunity Marvell ASIC team has over two decades of experiences building custom ASICs including some of the largest and the most complex chips in the world, along with rich portfolio of IPs and advanced chip design techniques, we formed the world class ASIC design service offering to all of our clients. Marvell ASIC China Design Center is part of the Marvell ASIC global team, our key mission is to provide the world class design service to our local clients. We have successfully delivered 150 ASICs to local and global clients so far. Job Responsibilities: Marvell ASIC Chip Design Center Engineers work on high complex SoCs (System on a Chip), high performance processors, infrastructure chips etc. with cutting edge technology for our clients inside and outside of Marvell. By employing the industry leading EDA tools, methodology, and advanced technologies, you will be leading the delivery of end to end solutions including chip architecture, floorplan and partition, place & route, high performance clocking, timing analysis/closure, synthesis, design for test, signal/power integrity, advanced package and hardware validation. Requirements: M.S. or B.S. or PhD in CS/EE or any background in digital backend chip design related areas. 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry Research and development experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital backend design implementation Knowledge of synthesis, timing, DFT, floorplan and partition, place and route, power analysis, signal/power integrity, packaging, or other physical design work. Electronic Design Automation algorithm, tool, flow and methodology development Architectural design, analysis, and optimization Proficient in Verilog/VHDL, and well conversant with programming and script languages Project/program management Experience in one or some of the application domains, will be a plus Chip top level experiences, including chip architecture and design planning Communication, networking and wireless applications High Speed Interface/Serdes applications High performance computing (servers) chipset Other emerging technology and industry areas Good English/communication skill and willingness to work with a global team.
