Packs goods to ensure that the content of packaged goods comply with packing lists. Loading and off-loading of goods in accordance with regulations and safety requirements. Identifies and evaluates any special needs for each load. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned As part of job enrichment, and at the company’s discretion, cross training in other areas will be given Supervisory Responsibilities The job has no supervisory responsibilities Education, Experience and Skills High School Diploma or GED preferred Some warehouse experience is desired Must have the ability to follow written or verbal instructions Ability to read a tape measure Must be able to use overhead cranes Knowledge of and ability to use nail guns, air guns, saws Forklift Experience Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
