About the role:
970 Design is looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to join our team. You’ll be our resident storyteller, helping to bring our client’s visions and goals to life. You’ll create marketing campaigns, brand style guides, communications assets, pitch documents, visuals for social channels, and more. We want you to be involved, vocal, and innovative from the start of the project through its fruition. You’ll use your design skills to tell stories, change perceptions, execute strategies, and ultimately amplify the impact of our clients.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Under the guidance of the Creative Director, develop visual systems for a range of projects and clients
- Design new and existing brands that incorporate strategic insights and meet client objectives
- Design omni-channel marketing campaigns that span across digital, print, brand, advertising, website, social, and environment
- Design custom websites in collaboration with developers based on UX/UI best practices and ADA accessibility standards
- Oversee quality control of files that have been finalized with a strong ability to collect, organize, name & archive files and materials
- Work with the account team to understand and execute scope, desired outcomes (including social/environmental impact), budget, and timeline
- Where appropriate, directly engage with the beneficiaries who are served by our clients to incorporate their perspective in the project design
- Understand and stay up to date with industry-standard best practices
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital design production, including websites, advertising, photo retouching, and other digital assets
- Comprehensive knowledge of Print Production, including four-color printing process
- Proficient in color theory, composition, design principles, and typography
- Website and UX design experience
- Fluency and efficiency with Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Illustrator)
- Resourceful and able to understand/navigate around design challenges of individual projects and provide creative solutions to problems
- Deadline-driven with the flexibility to reprioritize projects when necessary
- Familiarity with Asana, Slack, Google Suite
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel, executives, and vendors
- 3 year's agency experience
