Description
Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in the DC area. In this position, you will perform day-to-day administration of the database server. As a Database Administrator (DBA), use your skills and experience to provide support for advanced user jobs and analytics. This position will collaborate with other engineers and IT professionals on the team as well as other government resources.
- Perform complex day-to-day administration of the database server, to include installation, maintenance, and configuration
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution management
- Provide support for advanced user jobs and analytics
- Design the database server architecture, to include installation, maintenance, and configuration
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
- Database Administrator (DBA) – Junior
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience as a database administrator, specializing in supporting Oracle and Structured Query Language (SQL) environment or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Database Administrator (DBA) – Mid
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience as a database administrator, specializing in supporting Oracle and Structured Query Language (SQL) environment or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Database Administrator (DBA) – Senior
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience as a database administrator, specializing in supporting Oracle and Structured Query Language (SQL) environment or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred
- Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent
