Description
Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for an Information Technology (IT) Auditor to join our team in the DC area. In this position, you will perform business process engineering for remediation of vulnerability found during vulnerability assessments. As an IT Auditor, you will test and document infrastructure and cybersecurity controls. This position will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the other developers and IT professionals on the team as well as other government resources.
- Evaluate and test information systems and operating processes
- Perform audit procedures following department standards and procedures
- Assist with risk assessments, including identification, evaluation, and documentation of business and system risks and controls
- Assist in determining testing requirements
- Draft audit reports and other documentation
- Analyze audit evidence to provide an evaluation of the adequacy of system controls and make recommendations for improvement
- Assess the adequacy of proposed controls for new systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required; four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
- Experience IT Auditor – Junior
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an Information Technology Auditor providing performing vulnerability assessments and audit remediation or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience using vulnerability scanners or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Experience IT Auditor – Mid
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Information Technology Auditor providing performing vulnerability assessments and audit remediation or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience using vulnerability scanners or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred
- Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent
