Insignia Technology Services, a 9th Way Solutions company, has an opening for a Systems Administrator in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The pay for this position is $43,900 and includes benefits, paid vacation/holidays, 401k with company match and more. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), W2 position that is expected to last for one year. The worksite is a VA medical facility.
Responsibilities
A System Administrator must have experience in conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs. Systems administrators are responsible for maintaining system efficiency. Experience in maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. Must have knowledge on a number of debugging protocols and processes. Must be able to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions quickly.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a scientific or technical discipline such as computer science or engineering. Eight years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
