Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for a Training Developer to join our remote team. In this position, you will develop, write and create IT training materials, training plans, and training programs at an organizational, program or project level for various presentation media, such as written, visual and web based classes. As a Training Developer, you will assess, plan, organize and implement employee training for the customer and organization. This position will collaborate with management and other professionals on the team as well as government resources.
- Provide easily understood documentation that can be used for training purposes
- Provide opportunities to improve job skills and gather data about training needs
- Determine vision, goals and training efficacy
- Create meeting notes, training surveys and provide updates to leadership when requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree; Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Minimum five (5) years experience assessing, planning, organizing and implementing employee training
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience creating/writing training requirements focused on technology with help from engineering personnel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
Preferred
- Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent
- Prior work experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
