Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to elderly or disabled individuals
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping, and organizing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation needs
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in the Community Health Automated Medicaid Processing System (CHAMPS)
- Previous experience in senior care or patient care preferred
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards others
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients' needs
