POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the installation, development, testing, deployment, optimization, and documentation of servers. Ensures the stability and integrity of in-house services, servers. Troubleshoots performance issues, service availability and security across the enterprise. Provides capacity planning and technology solutions to meet business needs. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. Open to on-site and/or remote.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Responsible for installing, configuring, documenting, and maintaining business applications, servers including but not limited to electronic communication, image capturing, servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Monitors and analyzes performance across the organization’s business applications, servers. Provides performance statistics and reports for application services, servers.
- Assists in maintaining the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborates in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and maintains current knowledge of plan deliverables. Maintains, and documents enterprise-wide backup and recovery system.
- Manages, monitors, and configures workload automation systems.
- Responds to emergency outages in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, business continuity, disaster recovery plans and serves in an on-call rotation.
- Remains current with the latest technologies.
- Assists in ensuring connectivity across all organizational networks and third-party interfaces.
- Administers network user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Recommends strategies for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and assist in the design and deployment of new systems. Research hardware and software products to justify recommendations.
- Collaborates with vendors to determine the most cost-effective solution possible while meeting business needs.
- Assist in managing technology vendors and contracts.
- Responsible for server and licensing asset management.
- Remains in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures, including attendance at annual training, as directed by the Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
Works in the spirit of the credit union’s Vision, Pillars, and Team Organizing Principle both internally and externally.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Associates Degree in Information Technology or Certification is preferred. A combination of education and work experience may be a substitute for a college degree or certification, MCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, VCP, Security , Network , preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least three years relevant work experience in application and server management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Patch Management, Office 365, Antivirus Application, PowerShell, Scripting, SAN, Enterprise Backup Solutions, Tape Libraries, virtualization, Blade Servers, and High Availability.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to write and interpret a variety of information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to keep up to date with all current computer and communications technologies. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to operate a personal computer.
