A&E Design is seeking a construction project coordinator with unlimited creativity and determination to make a difference by joining our team. Your role will be critical to administering our construction services throughout the project. This specific job site is in Fort Harrison, MT and has a 12-18 month timeline. This is a 12-18 month fixed term, site-based position. Opportunity for continued fixed termed traveling positions will be given priority to current Construction Project Coordinators.


Your skill set.


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or CET is a plus
  • 1-2 years contract administration experience is desired
  • CDT and CCCA Certifications a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills, including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
  • Ability to remain positive, nimble, and flexible while navigating multiple, often overlapping schedules, software programs, and stakeholder group communications
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, work and communicate effectively in a team environment, and meet deadlines
  • Experienced using MS Office suite and industry related project management software like Procore and Autodesk Build
  • Must be insurable and able to travel to various worksites, as needed
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the U.S.

A day in the life of a construction project coordinator.


  • Monitors construction activities on-site and follow up for receipt, review, and distribution of information required for project completion.
  • Review and acquire a thorough knowledge of contract documents for the project including, but not limited to project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with contractors with direct interaction and focus on improving contractors' perception of on time delivery, quality, responsiveness, problem solving and service.
  • Acts as a resource to the construction management team on organizational initiatives and project requirements
  • Support project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract requirements
  • Utilize software programs and templates to process, distribute, track, update and manage all project documentation and controls
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports concerning work progress
  • Perform other duties as required/directed
