Responsible for supervising the Assemblers and third-party contractors ensuring the proper procedures, means and methods are being used for safe operation as outlined by the design, P&ID’s and equipment manufacture recommendations. Oversee all testing set-ups, installations and testing operations, ensuring they are being properly performed while monitoring and developing the Assemblers for a successful operation, when necessary and supervising the entire Fabrication Department, acting as backup for the Fabrication Supervisor
1. Attend meetings as necessary, including daily meetings to review daily schedule tasks/action items to direct or complete, weekly AGIPPS meetings for project review, the pre-submittal Functional Testing Procedure review meeting, and additional project meetings as required
2. Supervise/Inspect/Correct/Guide ongoing work performed by the Assembly Lederman, Assemblers and third party contractors while ensuring fabrication designs are consistent with AGI fabrication processes
3. Monitor and inspect subcontractors to ensure proper and efficient work operations while reviewing the project P&ID and design documentation and coordinating with the I&E subcontractors on FAT planning, additional installation, and safety devises as necessary
4. Ensure the Assembly Lederman is directing assigned crew to maintain a safe and clean working environment throughout the facility
5. Prior to testing of all hydro systems, ensure personnel are setting up equipment, safety devices, and the correct type of materials/grades/schedules to ensure safe performance during hydrotests of piping and/or tubing systems
6. Testing which includes reviewing project pumps, equipment and components for proper installation and start-up - troubleshooting as needed and ensuring proper equipment is being ordered and received for testing, inspecting all testing equipment, and reviewing all testing procedures prior to any test that is performed, monitor and report any deficiencies found during testing and coordinate corrective actions, review compiled testing documentation for accuracy prior to submittal to Quality Department.
7. Coordinate the project completions by delegating to the Assembly crew according to proper Materials and Punch list documentation while ensuring the Punch list work is being completed timely and approved by internal QAQC and client personnel
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by appropriate personnel
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
5-10 years related industry experience with 1-3 years' experience with pumps
