Primary Location
Bowling Green, Ohio or Rhome, Texas with travel to other A-Gas Americas sites as needed
The Business Systems Analyst will provide exceptional day to day business system support to end users, as well as identifying opportunities for system improvement and implementing effective solutions, in order to minimize operational disruption due to IT issues and increase productivity and efficiency within A-Gas.
Key Responsibilities
- Works closely with both internal and external customers to both maintain and identify opportunities, to enhance business systems to improve productivity and business efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements with a focus on technology and innovative solutions
- Assists in the definition of scope and objectives for key initiatives
- Leads projects and participates in the review processes and identifies improvements opportunities
- Develops the specification, testing, and delivery of agreed business system enhancements
- Reviews and analyzes the latest industry trends and where appropriate propose and implement developments to the A-Gas business systems ensuring that these are aligned to the IT strategy
- Identify requirements from customers to aid in the development of appropriate business systems
- Provides training for staff to ensure competent and effective use of business systems
- To work in accordance with all policies in relation to health and safety
- Any other tasks as required
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
-
- Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in related field, or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong analytical, systems knowledge/proficiency, communication skills
- Able to communicate with customers and both, understand and respond appropriately to requirements
- Able to analyze problems and implement timely solutions
- Confident communicator with the ability to express own views and challenge the views of others
- Proactive approach and able to work on own initiative
- Well organized and disciplined with high standards and attention to detail
- Flexible approach with the ability to both adapt to and facilitate change
- Able to work well within a team
- Interest in personal development and eagerness to learn
- Enthusiasm for technology and its application in improving the effectiveness of business processes
Desirable

- Knowledge and experience with various project management methodologies

Pay will be commensurate with experience. The targeted salary will be based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible for an Employee Incentive Program.
