Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, or individuals requiring hospice care.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and organizing.
- Lift and transfer clients as needed.
Skills:
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices.
- Strong caregiving skills and ability to provide compassionate care.
- Ability to work in assisted living facilities or private homes.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
