Maersk's Warehousing & Distribution Procurement organization in North America is looking for an ambitious individual to strengthen our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for helping to manage the assets within Maersk's Warehousing & Distribution Business Unit (warehouses, depots, cold chain) including but not limited to: Adding/removing assets in ServiceNow (SNOW); recording and inputting all intra and inter-company transfers; reconciling supplier asset lists to assure 100% accuracy.
  • Serving as the gatekeeper and subject matter expert (SME) for SNOW and helping train the field personnel on how to manager their assets in SNOW
  • Update and record rates, lease terms, domicile location and OEM specs for all assets within WND
  • Manage vendor partnerships and provide feedback on vendor performance that can be used to evaluate service levels.
  • Support the Procurement Manager(s) and Vendor & Contract Manager(s) in setting-up new vendors in SNOW as needed.
  • Support the Sr. Fleet Manager with the Verizon Connect Telematics Initiative and assure 100% functionality for all asset telematic devices.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders in North America and within Maersk with Product Teams including, Operations, Finance, Commercial and other regions in Maersk.
  • Assist in the development of asset management frameworks and processes and assure all vendor partners conduct business per the Maersk Responsible Procurement Clause.
  • Responsible for the management of the Procurement Team's Vendor List to assure all vendors and suppliers used within the Team are kept up to date and accurate.


We are looking for:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (MBA, or similar, is a plus)
  • 1-3 years of operations or procurement experience
  • Great typing skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Great with excel
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and operational agility are a must
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and have a growth mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Demonstrated history of strong analytical skills with experience in Excel
  • Experience integrating and standardizing varying processes to optimize procurement functions
  • Prior experience or knowledge in truck maintenance including standard repair times and asset life-cycle management
  • The ability to manage stakeholders in operations, finance, commercial and corporate.


Job Type:

Full Time

Salary:

$50,000 to $55,000.

Benefits:

Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
